The first would be to see them as confines, limitations, restrictions and perhaps even as an imposition of superiority
The other outlook, which is more mature, positive and progressive is that rules are intended to create a harmonious and disciplined atmosphere respecting the independence of all yet not allowing individuals act in ways that are disadvantageous, detrimental or disruptive to others within the organisation or the organization itself
Remember, today, as students, you are following rules, a few years later, as a supervisor/manager/proprietor; you would be involved in creating and implementing them yourself
So why not appreciate them today so that we can expect the same from others in the future??
We would, on our part, request students to view the following rules, regulations, policies and guidelines in a constructive and optimistic manner keeping in mind that discipline is indeed the cornerstone to improvement and progress
